This is our go-to favorite place. The menu choices, the specials, the chef - second to none. But a restaurant is not always 'just' the food. Sit at the bar, chat with the friendliest bartenders ever, visit with everyone and just experience this place. The owner and the atmosphere she's created make this place so so special!

The bar manager also created me the most delicious cocktail with huckleberry vodka, club soda, and white cran juice and it was so good I ordered two more! Very accommodating here

Ok so I wasn't sure about this place but dang! The wings were ON point! Super crispy and flavorful - we got the teriyaki and lemon pepper dry rub. That Lemmon pepper was awesome with great flavor. Service was friendly and attentive. The inside is nice and looks recently Renovated. We found the prices to be very fair. He had a burger and I had a steak salad which was huge with a lot of tasty steak and huge chunks of blue cheese. We will return.

Where do I start!!! Beni's Restaurant is a no expense spared, first class Restaurant and it shows the minute you walk in! We were trying to get back on the highway when we came across Beni's in Vernon, CT. We were hungry so decided to try it out. Beni's has seating on both sides of the bar. We sat at a booth right in front of one of the front windows. They also have a gorgeous outside seating area. From when we walked in, everyone was friendly and nice. They have a nice variety of items on the menu, something for everyone. I was surprised to see Ipswich Whole Belly Clams on their menu. I guess even they know the best clams! There were quite a few items on the special's menu as well. As I was going over the menu's I asked for a White Peach Cosmo. Delicious is all I can say! I opted for the Black Canyon NY Strip Steak. I asked for the demi glaze on the side and no gorgonzola. I got the roasted potatoes and a salad with Ranch dressing. My husband got the prime rib with chicken rice soup and mixed vegetables. The salad and soup came out first. My salad was cold and crisp. The Ranch dressing definitely seemed homemade. Nothing like the prepared stuff you commonly get at restaurants. Very good. Hubby's soup was definitely homemade and was delicious and flavorful. Our dinners came out in no time. My steak looked delicious. Perfectly seared on the outside and the perfect thickness and VERY TENDER...It is advertised on the menu as 14 ounce and no doubt it looked it. The roasted potatoes are red potatoes that are actually roasted and retain their moisture unlike a lot of places that deep fry them and call them roasted. I cut into the steak and the temperature inside was a perfect medium. Whoever they have cooking the steaks knows what they are doing. Most importantly, the steak was perfectly TENDER and juicy....and THICK! I ate almost all of it. Gave my husband the rest....Well worth the $33.00 all day long. My husbands Prime Rib was also delicious and. Perfectly cooked and VERY tender. He just had to ask for a little more au jus. He ate it all. We were so full, we did not get dessert. But they looked delicious. Even though it was our server Teagan's first day, she was fantastic! Very attentive, accommodating, and pleasant. Everything was exactly as we ordered it. I looked on Yelp while we were waiting at the reviews and ratings. This restaurant deserves a much higher rating than 3 stars on Yelp. As I was reading the reviews on Yelp, I noticed there are a lot of 1-star reviews from people with a history of only one review. No pictures, no copy of the receipt....more than likely FAKE reviews. Yelp has always had a practice of suppressing one reviewer's with either 5 stars or 1-star.... they must be sleeping. These 1-star FAKE reviews certainly sound like made up reviews and are unfair to businesses like this that deserve a much higher rating. I did notice Beni's Restaurant has 4-stars and 4-1/2-stars on ALL other rating sites, which is more like the experience we had. Moral of the story, try a restaurant out. You may love it and miss out on a great dining experience.

We were at an event that had catering from Beni's (caesar salad was home made and not from the restaurant). Food was decent and flavorful. The potatoes were only halved so pieces were pretty large. They were also over cooked so a lot of it was really mushy.. needed quite a bit of salt and pepper too. The eggplant rollatini was stuffed with ricotta and the chicken was decent. Most of the chicken came in small cuts so at least two pieces were needed. Haven't experienced dining in but catered food was decent.

Nestled in Vernon CT you will find Beni's restaurant. Parking space is provided in the front and side of the building. As you walk in you are greeted by the beautiful receptionist who is ready to assign you a table. You have the choice of sitting inside, at the bar, or outside on the patio. I was there celebrating my friend's birthday dinner and she booked a reservation for 25 guests. As we were seated we were offered menus and our drink order was taken. We had 2 servers since it was such a party and both were very friendly and kept checking on us throughout the course of the evening. The food was amazing. I ordered the lemon-peppered wings and my friends offered various items from the menu that they all enjoyed. The drinks menu is a must to check-out. A wide variety of direct spring and summer drinks are available to choose from. An overall great experience and I will definitely return
